BZA Agenda- March 8, 2010

Notice is hereby given that the Steuben County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 8, 2010, at 7:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne, Angola, IN, for consideration of the following agenda:



1. (SE-10-01) Kevin & Jennifer Wall petition for a special exception use for a mobile home in an Agricultural Zoning District. A mobile home is considered a Special Exception Use in Agricultural Zones. Property is located at 6032 S 325 W, Section 29 of Steuben Twp (Map# 76-11-29-000-001.020-017).

2. (V-10-08) Robert & Cathern VanLear petition for one post-construction developmental-standard variance for a deck. Variance is for a lakefront setback of sixteen (16) feet rather than the twenty (20) feet required. Property is located at 475 LN 298 Crooked Lk, Section 7 of Pleasant Twp (Map# 76-06-07-410-204.000-011),

3. (V-10-17) William & Constance Carroll petition for one post-construction developmental-standard variance for a new home. Said variance is for a height of thirty-four (34) feet eleven (11) inches and three (3) stories rather than the twenty-seven (27) feet and two (2) stories allowed. Property is located at 335 LN 130A Lk George, Section 14 of Jamestown Twp (Map# 76-03-14-120-201.000-006), &

4. (V-10-18) Jean Hartman & Grabill Bank as Trustee of the Diane McAllister Family Credit Shelter Trust petition for one developmental standard variance for a home addition. Variance is for a lakefront setback of eight (8) feet rather than the fifty feet required. Property is located at 860 LN 275 Turkey Lk, Section 7 of Salem Twp (Map# 76-12-07-330-301.000-014).




The above petitions are on file for public examination in the Plan Commission Office, 317 S Wayne St Ste 3L, Angola, IN. Written statements may be filed with the Steuben County Plan Director and may be considered by the BZA at the public hearing. Interested persons wishing to present their views on a petition will be given the opportunity to do so at the hearing. Hearings on particular petitions may be continued at the discretion of the BZA. Petitions requiring the consideration of the Board of Commissioners will be heard at their next regularly scheduled meeting with agenda openings.
