The meeting will be held in the County Commissioner meeting room on the second floor of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne, Angola, IN.

The Troyer Group will present more detailed plans and cost estimates for several different park improvement proposals.

County Park "Bubble Diagrams"
The Troyer Group has prepared several bubble diagram plans for the Steuben County Park. These are not the final plans, only a first draft.
These plans explore three potential scenarios:
1) The County acquires the Fun Spot property,
2) The County acquires no additional property,
3) The County acquires the 95 acres to the south.
These scenarios are shown below.
Fun Spot scenario.
No expansion scenario.
Southern 95 acres scenario.
These plans are also on display in the second story hallway of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S Wayne, Angola, IN.
They will also be available soon on the "Home" Tab of the Steuben County GIS.

County Park Charrette- February 9-10, 2010
The Steuben County Commissioners, in consultation with The Troyer Group, have organized a public meeting to discuss the master plan for improvements to Steuben County Park. During the meeting, those in attendance will have a chance to provide input on what improvements they would like made to the park.
At 6:00 p.m., there will be a brief presentation to introduce the master planning process. After that, there will be small groups organized to give individuals an opportunity to work closely with the park representatives and consultants to brainstorm ideas that will have an impact on future development for the park.
Those attending should consider the following questions prior to the charrette to make the event as productive as possible:
What would the ideal park/fairground include?
What is missing from the park/fairground?
What are some characteristics of your favorite parks/fairgrounds?
What can the park/fairground include to generate revenue?
What can be done to improve circulation at the park/fairground?

County Park Committee- January 28, 2010
The Steuben County Park Improvement Project will hold a kick-off meeting tonight, Thursday, January 28, 2010. The meeting is scheduled to run from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
The meeting will be held in the Multi-purpose Room of the Steuben Community Center, 317 S. Wayne, Angola, IN..
This will be the first meeting with representatives from The Troyer Group. John Leszczynski, from The Troyer Group, and his team will lead the meeting.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend!
