On Thursday, September 10, 2009, the Steuben County Plan Commission and Steuben County Purdue Extension Office will host a Purdue Extension Video Seminar from 7pm to 9pm. The topic for this seminar is “Zoning for Home Based Businesses.”

Speakers include Bradley Johnson and John Molitor. The program is sponsored by Purdue University, Ball State University, the Indiana Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Indiana Farm Bureau.

The program will focus on planning and neighborhood issues, legal and constitutional issues, and effective administration of enforcement concerning home-based businesses.

Previously, it had been announced that the topic was “Green Building and Infrastructure.” The original flyer received was for the previous year. The Plan Commission Office apologies for the confusion.

The video seminar will take place in the Steuben County Purdue Extension conference room in the basement of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S Wayne, Angola, IN. It is open to the public and free to attend, but space may be limited. Arrive early.
