V-10-01 Lukenbill - DENIED (4-1)
Lakefront setback of forty (40) feet rather than the fifty (50) feet required.
Conditions: None.
Notes: Post-construction variance. Stairway will need to be removed or relocated.

V-10-02 Buschek - APPROVED as presented(5-0)
Lakefront setback of forty-seven (47) feet rather than the fifty feet required.
Conditions: As presented.
Notes: The proposed sunroom addition will extend slightly farther than an existing deck.

V-10-03 Rutledge - APPROVED (5-0)
Road-front setback of fourteen (14) feet rather than the twenty-five (25) feet required.
Conditions: None.
Notes: The setback is measured from the traveled roadway. Setback is for an existing detached garage which will be attached to the new home.

V-10-04 Houghton - APPROVED with conditions (4-1)
Lakefront setback of four (4) feet rather than the twenty (20) feet required.
Conditions: 1) Lower portion of the deck shall not be enclosed. 2) Setback shall not extend beyond the lakeside of the support posts for the upper deck.
Notes: Post-construction variance. Improvement Location Permit cost will triple.

V-10-05 Stepp, Dettmer, & Brewer - APPROVED as presented (5-0)
Road-front setback of twelve (12) feet rather than the twenty-five (25) feet required.
Conditions: As presented.
Notes: Reduced setback is for a side-loading, attached garage.

V-10-06 Foster - APPROVED with conditions (5-0)
Lot area of thirty-one hundredths (0.31) acres rather than the one-half (0.5) acres required.
Conditions: 1) Lot shall be used only for accessory uses. (No home.) 2) Restriction shall be placed on the plat.
Notes: P-10-01 Foster was approved by the Steuben County Plan Commission on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, with the conditions that there be no deeded lake access for lots in the subdivision and that a variance for the reduced lot size be approved by the Board of Zoning Appeals.
