Notice is hereby given that the Steuben County Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at 7:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne, Angola, IN, for consideration of the following agenda:
1. (P-10-07) Shawn Stark & Phil Cain petition for secondary approval of the major subdivision “Little Long Lake Addition.” The proposed subdivision will create ten (10) lots on sixteen and a half (16.5) acres. 2. (P-10-08) Trevor Ferrell & James & Janet Covell petition for primary approval of the minor subdivision “Ferrell’s Minor Subdivision.” The proposed subdivision will create one (1) lot on two (2) acres. Property is located at 3523 S 275 E, Section 8 of Otsego Twp, Map# 76-10-08-000-015.010-009,
3. (P-10-09) Fred Forte petitions to amend the plat of Sleepy Hollow. Amendment will modify the boundaries of a common area and a lot, reducing the size of the common area by roughly one hundred (100) square feet and amend the restrictions and covenants. 4. (SE-10-04) Ben & Mary Borntreger petition for a special exception use for a private school in an agricultural zoning district. All schools are a special exception use in agricultural zoning districts. Property is located at 4015 S 600 E, Section 14 of Otsego Twp, Map# 76-10-14-000-001.000-009,
5. (SE-10-05) Ron & Darlene Mason & Philip & Karina Nott petition for a special exception use for a public camp in an agricultural zoning district. Public camps are a special exception use in general business zoning districts. The proposed public camp will include four (4) cabins and accessory structures. Property is located at 3342 N SR 827, Section 6 of Scott Twp, Map# 76-07-06-000-027.000-016, &
6. (Z-10-05) Steuben County Plan Commission petitions for a zone change of two (2) parcels measuring roughly two and one tenth (2.1) acres. Proposed zone change is from local business to environmental control. Property is located at 7992 N Silver, Section 11 & 12 of Jamestown Twp, Map# 76-03-11-000-001.000-006 & 76-03-12-000-003.010-006.
The above petitions are on file for public examination in the Plan Commission Office, 317 S Wayne St Ste 3L, Angola, IN. Written statements may be filed with the Steuben County Plan Director and may be considered by the Plan Commission at the public hearing. Interested persons wishing to present their views on a petition will be given the opportunity to do so at the hearing. Hearings on particular petitions may be continued at the discretion of the Plan Commission. Petitions requiring the consideration of the Board of Commissioners or the BZA will be heard at their next regularly scheduled meeting with agenda openings.
