BZA Agenda- January 10, 2011

Notice is hereby given that the Steuben County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on January 10, 2011, at 7:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne, Angola, IN, for consideration of the following agenda:



1. Election of BZA Officers for 2011, including: Chairman, Vice-chairman, & Secretary,

Variances are for a road-front setback of five & four-tenths (5.4) feet rather than the twenty-five (25) feet required & a building-to-building setback of eight & five-tenths (8.5) feet rather than the ten (10) feet required. Variance is for a road-front setback of four & five-tenths (4.5) feet rather than the twenty-five (25) feet required. 5. (V-11-03) Gary & Jane Houg & Phil Meyers petition for one developmental-standard variance for a home addition. Variance is for a road-front setback of nineteen (19) feet rather than the twenty-five (25) feet required. 6. (V-11-04) Michael Davito petitions for one post-construction, developmental-standard variance for a new deck. Variance is for a lakefront setback of zero (0) feet rather than the fifty (50) feet required. Property is located at 440 LN 220 Turkey Lk, Section 18 of Salem Twp (Map# 76-12-18-420-122-000-014).




The above petitions are on file for public examination in the Plan Commission Office, 317 S Wayne St Ste 3L, Angola, IN. Written statements may be filed with the Steuben County Plan Director and may be considered by the BZA at the public hearing. Interested persons wishing to present their views on a petition will be given the opportunity to do so at the hearing. Hearings on particular petitions may be continued at the discretion of the BZA. Petitions requiring the consideration of the Board of Commissioners will be heard at their next regularly scheduled meeting with agenda openings.
