Notice is hereby given that the Steuben County Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 7:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne, Angola, IN, for consideration of the following agenda:
1. (SE-10-06) The Coast, LLC & Tom Clausen petition for a special exception use for a Marina in a Lake Residential zoning district. A marina is considered a Special Exception Use in Lake Residential zoning districts. Property is located at 3108 N Bay View Road, Section 4 of Pleasant Twp (Map# 76-06-04-440-210.000-011),
2. (Z-10-06) Steuben County Plan Commission petitions to rezone Lots 1 thru 18 and Common Areas B, C, & D of Crooked Lake Beach Club. Proposed zone change is from Agricultural to Residence-1. Property is located at 4770 W Orland Rd, Section 6 of Pleasant Twp (Map# 76-06-06-210-101/102/103/104/105/106/107.000-011, 76-06-06-210-108/109/110/111/112.000-011; 76-06-06-220-113/114/115/116/117.000-011, 76-06-06-230-118/119.000-011),
3. (Z-10-07) Steuben County Plan Commission petitions to rezone Lots 19 thru 36 and Common Areas A & G of Crooked Lake Beach Club Phase 2. Proposed zone change is from Agricultural to Residence-2. Property is located at N 485 W, Section 6 of Pleasant Twp (Map# 76-06-06-220/219/220/221/222/223/224/225/226/227/228/229/230/231/232/233/234/235/236/237.000-011),
4. Members of the Steuben County Board of Commissioners will discuss planning and zoning related issues with the Plan Commission, &
5. Discussion of a proposed sign compliance program and integrated sign program. No vote will take place at this time.
The above petitions are on file for public examination in the Plan Commission Office, 317 S Wayne St Ste 3L, Angola, IN. Written statements may be filed with the Steuben County Plan Director and may be considered by the Plan Commission at the public hearing. Interested persons wishing to present their views on a petition will be given the opportunity to do so at the hearing. Hearings on particular petitions may be continued at the discretion of the Plan Commission. Petitions requiring the consideration of the Board of Commissioners or the BZA will be heard at their next regularly scheduled meeting with agenda openings.
